I have had it for years and use it often for the grandchildren.Ingredients | What To Do With Excess Chillies1 cup margarine1 cup vegetable oil2 cups white sugar2 cups packed brown sugar4 eggs3 teaspoons vanilla extract2 tablespoons real maple syrup3 cups all-purpose flour2 teaspoons baking powder2 teaspoons baking soda¾ teaspoon salt1 cup finely ground graham cracker crumbs5 cups rolled oats3 cups chopped walnuts2 (12 ounce) packages semisweet chocolate chips1 (7 ounce) bar milk chocolate candy bar (such as Hershey's®), cut into piecesDirectionsIn a large bowl cream, sugar, butter, and maple syrup. Add eggs and vanilla.Grind the oats in a food processor to a coarse texture. Mix the dry ingredients together (except chocolate) and pour in half, add the cracker crumbs and nuts, mix well and add the rest of the dry ingredients. NOTE: You can use any one of the following kinds of nuts: peanuts, almonds, pecans, walnuts, filberts, cashews or chestnuts.Add the chocolate chips and chocolate pieces last and form into small balls and place on a ungreased cookie sheet 3 inches apart.
